The production gap

Your manuscript is not the problem.

The difficult part is getting Hebrew, English, pedagogy, and print requirements to behave on the same page—and knowing someone checked the result.

Language directions collide

Mixed Hebrew and English disrupt punctuation, footnotes, numbered lists, tables, and page flow in generic layout tools.

Every “small fix” moves the book

Changing one source quotation can reflow dozens of pages, break answer space, and create new proofing errors.

The printer checks files, not meaning

A platform can validate margins and bleed. It cannot tell you whether a sacred quotation, translation, or reading order changed.

What you receive

From working document to approved proof.

A controlled production package for workbooks, readers, sourcebooks, haggadot, and other educational material.

A question opens the text

Read the source closely. Circle the phrase that changes how you understand the speaker’s responsibility.

Edited manuscript

Tracked changes, style sheet, consistency checks, and author approval.

Bilingual typesetting

RTL/LTR text, niqqud, tables, footnotes, headings, and workbook space.

Production preflight

Fonts, images, margins, bleed, reading order, and platform preview.

Physical proof

One printed proof, correction round, and final print-ready files.

A clear handoff

Three steps. Fourteen business days.

The pilot is deliberately constrained: fewer templates, explicit approvals, and no mystery about what happens next.

Audit the manuscript

We review a representative file, identify rights and production risks, recommend trim and binding, and produce 6–10 sample pages.

Edit and typeset

AI assists with error detection and consistency; a human remains accountable. You approve substantive changes before layout is locked.

Proof and deliver

We preflight the files, order one physical proof, apply one correction round, and prepare KDP, IngramSpark, or small-batch handoff.

Founding pilot

Start with a print-readiness audit.

$195 credited toward production
  • Written production-risk assessment
  • Recommended format and print route
  • 6–10 professionally typeset sample pages
  • Fixed production quote and timeline

Full clean-manuscript production is typically quoted from $900–$1,500. Bilingual or complex projects are quoted separately after the audit.

No file upload yet. We will request a representative sample only after confirming fit.

Questions

Before you send the manuscript.

Is the editing done by AI?

AI assists with consistency, grammar, and error detection. A human reviews its suggestions, and you approve every substantive change. We do not sell one-click automated publishing.

Do you verify Hebrew or religious content?

We check production accuracy and preserve approved source text. Hebrew language editing, translation, and theological or halachic review require a qualified named specialist and are quoted separately.

Do I keep my files and publishing account?

Yes. You own the manuscript, print-ready files, ISBN, and platform accounts. We can prepare an upload for KDP or IngramSpark, or obtain a small-batch quote.

What is not included in the pilot?

Ghostwriting, custom illustration, indexing, translation, marketing, inventory, and ongoing fulfilment are outside the base package. We keep the first engagement focused on getting one book accurately into print.
